With a science degree (First Class Honours) and a PhD in biochemistry, Dr Illo Streimann brings an evidence-based, meticulous approach to everyday dentistry. After completing his dentistry degree at the University of Sydney, he trained across a wide scope of general practice and has since helped patients of all ages maintain healthy, confident smiles.

Originally from Melbourne, Dr Streimann now calls the Central Coast home and consults from Albany Dental in Gosford. His clinical interests span preventative care and maintenance, endodontics (including root canal therapy), implant-supported restorations, and cosmetic treatments designed to improve both function and aesthetics. Patients value his calm chair-side manner, clear explanations, and focus on long-term oral health.

Outside the surgery, Dr Streimann enjoys the collaborative, family-friendly culture of Albany Dental; a long-established Central Coast practice offering comprehensive general, cosmetic, restorative and emergency dentistry with modern technology and a warm, community-focused team.

With an incredible 52 years of experience, Dr Philip Heydenrych known as Dr H is a cornerstone of Albany Dental. After qualifying from the University of Pretoria, Dr H gained extensive experience in the Military, as well as in the UK and South Africa, before purchasing Albany Dental in 1978. Through his leadership, the practice flourished, becoming a trusted name in the community.

Now practising part-time, Dr H continues to bring skill, empathy, and affordable care to his patients. He has also dedicated time to voluntary dental aid trips to Nepal and Cambodia, providing treatment in challenging environments.

Outside of work, he enjoys meeting friends over coffee, solving the world’s problems, and taking his two spoodles for beach walks, appreciating life’s simple pleasures.

Dr Hany Guirguis is a skilled General Dentist who has worked in both private and public sectors in Egypt before joining Albany Dental. With a Bachelor of Dentistry and Oral Surgery from Egypt (2013) and having successfully passed the Australian Dental Council exam in 2023, Dr Hany brings a wealth of expertise to every patient he treats.

Guided by the philosophy “If you can dream it, you can do it,” Dr Hany believes in striving for excellence and creating a positive experience for his patients.

When not in the clinic, he enjoys watching movies, taking long walks, and trying out new restaurants, embracing life one experience at a time.

Crona Stokes has been part of the Albany Dental team for 17 years, bringing a warm and gentle approach to patient care. She started her dental journey at 18 as a dental nurse, later earning her Dental Hygiene qualification from the University of Newcastle in 2014 and completing her Oral Health Therapy studies in 2018.

Crona enjoys working with both children and adults, especially those who feel nervous or apprehensive about dental treatment. She takes pride in helping her patients feel at ease, turning what can be a stressful experience into a positive one.

Outside the clinic, Crona loves staying active, whether it’s hitting the gym, running, or trying out new outdoor adventures. Her favourite quote, “I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done,” perfectly sums up her approach to both life and her work.

Katrina Mujana is a compassionate Dental Hygienist with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Newcastle. Before joining Albany Dental, Katrina worked in a mobile dental service visiting aged care facilities. Over the past 8 years, she has been an integral part of the Albany Dental team, also assisting a local orthodontist before dedicating her full focus to the practice.

Recently, Katrina was honoured with the ‘Pride of Workmanship’ award from the local Rotary Club, a testament to her dedication and outstanding contribution to her profession and community.

Her philosophy, inspired by the quote “Not all those who wander are lost,” reflects her belief that life’s unexpected paths can lead to rewarding destinations.

Since joining Albany Dental in 2012 and becoming Practice Manager in 2015, Cassie Watts has been at the heart of the practice’s smooth operation. Originally from a background in communications and magazine publishing, Cassie found her passion in the dental industry, where she’s been thriving ever since. In 2022, she further honed her skills by completing the Prime Practice Manager’s Academy, solidifying her dedication to providing exceptional care and organisation at Albany Dental.

Cassie’s favourite quote, “If we all threw our problems in a pile, and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back,” speaks to her belief in perspective and empathy.

When she’s not at work or spending time with her husband and two daughters, Cassie loves road trips and dreaming about her next vacation.
