Let’s start with the Central Coast:

What do you love most about the Central Coast?
The people. I am born and raised on the Central Coast and love having my friends and family close by. I love going for a walk in my local neighbourhood and saying hello to all the other locals passing by, in my experience other communities have not always been so friendly.

Name somewhere you love to visit on the Coast?
Bouddi National park. This is one of my favourite spots to visit on a sunny day. The coastal walk to Maitland Bay especially is my favourite, even if it does get my heart racing to get there.

What’s your favourite place to eat/drink around here?
Bellyfish at Terrigal is my local go to café. Great Food, friendly service, stunning views AND we get to take our dog crumpet along too.

Now, a little more personal:

Are you an early bird or a night owl?
Quite honestly, neither. I do my best to get up early with my partner and enjoy the sunrise every now and then but I am more of a 7am-10pm kind of gal.

What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
Breathe. It’s easy to get caught up in the small things and sometimes you just need to stop and take a few breaths. I find this helps me to put things back into perspective. If that fails then I imagine my smiling dog’s face, that never fails to put a smile back on my face.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Regular exercise. With daylight savings ended and winter coming, I have gotten a little slack. My partner and I are trying to motivate each other and maintain a better exercise routine throughout the colder months.

What’s the best advice you were ever given?
You can’t have a negative thought whilst you’re thinking about something positive.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate. It’s actually probably classified more as an addiction.

If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?
Spotify- I need music in my life. Google maps- I have the worst sense of direction and would literally be lost without it. Sudoku- for the quieter moments.

What’s one trend you hope makes a comeback?
Shoulder pads, just for a laugh.

What’s the top destination on your must-visit list?
New Zealand. I have done a lot of travel overseas and have already crossed off over 30 countries from my must- see list but am yet to visit New Zealand. Hopefully next year.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?
I try not to inflict pain on others so I’m not a regular karaoke participant but if I really had to… My Sharona by The Knack

Let’s start with the Central Coast:

What do you love most about the Central Coast?
Everyone who lives here on the Coast is so friendly and ready to help one another out! Especially in times such as flooding, Covid, bushfires etc – the support we show our fellow Coasties and other Australians is amazing!

Name somewhere you love to visit on the Coast?
I love to take my kids to Jump N Jungle at West Gosford. Such a wonderful place for the little kids to attend and have fun without the bigger kids because we all know how hard it is to find something to do for toddlers.

What’s your favourite place to eat/drink around here?
I can’t go past a coffee from The Good Bits Co in Gosford before a busy day at the practice!

Now, a little more personal:

Are you an early bird or a night owl?
Early bird for sure. Which means that’s why I am the first one at Albany Street North each morning!

What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
I like to try anything to turn around a bad day. Turn on some music, for instance. Music can evoke so many fun and happy emotions. Or just let out some tears!

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Journaling each night with three things I am grateful for, or was successful at that day

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
I received a thank you card from my boss after the scary Covid time and I treasure it dearly. It sits on my desk to remind myself why I work as hard as I do. A close second would be the compliments I get about how white my teeth are. All thanks to our take-home whitening kits. It is much more easier and affordable than you think!

What’s your guilty pleasure?
A drink after work for sure. An XPA from Bay Road Brewing in Gosford is a fave!

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose?
I would choose one of my daughters. I would love to know how they see the world we live in currently and in addition, how they view me as a mum. However, it might also be scary to know!

If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?
Firstly Spotify because as I’ve mentioned before I love music above all. Secondly, Roborock because I wouldn’t be able to live without my robot vacuuum. And lastly, Foxtel Go so I can catch up on tv and sports!

What’s one song or artist that you’re embarrassed to admit you like?
Taylor Swift Evermore Album – only because her fans seem to be shunned every time they admit they like her!

What’s the top destination on your must-visit list?
I’d love to try our local resort Kim’s at Toowoon Bay as I have not had the chance to visit yet. Similarly, I would say Huskisson on the South Coast is next on my list after a recommendation from a friend. Both seem like nice places to visit!

What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Meatloaf – Paradise by the Dashboard Lights because I can belt out most of the words.
